The Child and Family Guidance Center provides comprehensive and collaborative outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents and their families throughout the San Fernando and Antelope Valleys. We are seeking a full-time Bilingual Clinical Therapist for our Palmdale facility to provide outpatient services to families with children and adolescents, ages 3-18, with severe emotional behavioral problems. Come Join Our Team Clinical Therapist - Outpatient Services Essential Job Functions: . Provides direct clinical services to clients and their families, including individual, group and family treatment. . Provides case management services, as needed, which include but not limited to: Monitoring clients in the Medication Support Service Program and referrals to outside or internal resources, as needed. . Responsible for case documentation, written reports and correspondence with other agencies involved with client. . Shares responsibilities for on-call emergency consultation and in-service trainings. Skills You Need: . Bilingual in Spanish and English. . Experience working with children and families. . Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills. . Knowledge of evidence-based child and family interventions relevant to families served in the community mental health settings. . Ability to develop reasonable, appropriate treatment plans and clinical programs to meet the needs of the clients. Hours: . FSLA Status: exempt . 40 Hours (Full Time) At least 2 evenings per week until 8 pm . Work schedule is based on the needs of the Center. Education Required: . Ph.D/Psy.D., MSW degree or MA/MS degree with an emphasis on marriage and family therapy. . Must be eligible to register with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Sciences.
