Job Description
Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Manager- Team Leader 1 to provide leadership, training, and mentorship for newly hired employees upon entry to the program through transition to specific job site. The primary roles for this position will include daily interaction with a diverse group of personnel and direct supervision of a continually changing group of 30+ employees.
  • Provides team leadership to a customer-focused team or group of teams committed to increased quality and productivity.
  • Provides direction on activities and behaviors, in accordance with organizational goals.
  • Motivates team members and facilitates team meetings, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
  • Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors.
  • Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions.
  • Provides guidance to team on development, performance, and productivity issues.
  • Monitors team budget and ensures proper use of assets.
  • Represents the team, presenting team suggestions and recommendations on processes and procedures in accordance with organization cost, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Requires experience in group processes and dynamics.
  • Reports to functional and/or organization management on team accomplishments, achievements, and productivity.
